3. Information about Facebook plug-ins
In our internet presentation we make use of plug-ins of the online network portal “Facebook”. The operator of that network is Facebook Inc.; 1601 S. California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The plug-ins consist of a button with the designation “Like” and “Share” flanking the logo of Facebook Inc. – a white "f" on a blue background. Plug-ins of that type can also be identified by means of the note “Social plug-in of Facebook”, which can be found on the website.
When you call up our website, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Facebook Inc., whereby the concrete content of the plug-ins of Facebook is made available on the latter’s servers and is ultimately integrated directly into our website via your browser.
If you are a member of Facebook and are logged in on Facebook while visiting our website, that visit may already be attributed to your Facebook user account. If you use the “Like” button, that information is also transmitted directly to Facebook and saved there. You can prevent having the visit to our website attributed to your Facebook account, if you log out of Facebook beforehand. Even if you are not a Facebook member, it is possible that your IP address may be transmitted to Facebook Inc. and saved when you visit our website.
You can find additional information about the scope and purpose of the collection and utilisation of personal data by Facebook as well as instructions regarding setting options for Facebook user accounts for the purpose of privacy protection at:
